JUMLA, April 8: Majority of students attending the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations at the Anamnagar-based Karnali High School have quit the exams. Some 65 students left the exams after they were not allowed to cheat.

In previous years, there used to be a huge crowd of guardians outside the exam center, but the center is quiet this year.

Some 194 students sat for the examinations from an open school on the first day of the SLC exams. Their number has declined drastically till Thursday.

Exam Controller, Samrita Budha told Republica Online that 65 students of regular and exempted categories have quit the exams.

Chief Education Officer, Rudra Prasad Pandit said that 10 fake examinees have been asked to appear with related documents. Pandit added that strict measures have been taken this time to deter improper activities during exams.
