KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The executive committee meeting of Nepal Olympic Committee on Thursday decided to provide financial support of Rs 40,000 each to players, coaches and sports journalists affected by the devastating earthquake of April 25.

A meeting of the committee chaired by President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan decided to support the earthquake victims from the financial support collection funds.
The committee also decided to give provisional membership of the body to Nepal Golf Association. The newly-elected committee of NOC under President Jeevan Ram Shrestha will start functioning from October 1.
