KATHMANDU, August 1: The government has reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), offering some respite to consumers. The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of gasoline by Rs 25 per cylinder and will be effective from Wednesday, informed the spokesperson of the NOC, Sitaram Pokhrel, citing that the price has been declining in the international market.
With the fresh price adjustment, an LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,325 from Rs 1,350 in the market. However, the price of other petroleum products remains unchanged, said Pokhrel.
