Nobel laureate visiting Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 31: Nobel prize winner Klaus Bhon Klitzing is arriving in Kathmandu on Monday to take part in a four-day international conference of physicists, according to Physics Society.



According to the society secretary Niraj Shrestha, Klitzing, who won Nobel Prize in Physics in 1985, is the special guest at the conference to be inaugurated by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav. He is also presenting a working paper in the conference that will see 120 physicists from 30 countries.
