NEPALGUNJ: Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur has said that the Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist should be brought on board the poll process without deferring the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

Speaking at a press meet in Nepalgunj on Tuesday, Thakur said that the CPN-Maoist demand for deferral of the poll date and dissolution of the Regmi-led government can not be met. He also said that it would not make any difference if the CPN-Maoist does not participate in the poll process.

However, he ruled out the possibility of an alliance between a Madhesi party and the UCPN (Maoist). He also accused UCPN (Maoist) Chairman of fooling the Madhesi people.
