No confidence motion against CM Shahi rejected
ANFA President Nembang stated that the confusion within the football sector has now been cleared. He said that a special general meeting was called to address the issue, but despite numerous discussions, a conclusion could not be reached. ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai also expressed the belief that this will put an end to all issues related to the ANFA President, allowing the football sector to move forward. Outgoing ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa, on the other hand, stated that he would continue to raise concerns about the irregularities committed by the current ANFA leadership.
In September, a majority of ANFA members submitted a petition to ANFA demanding the dismissal of President Nembang along with General Secretary Kiran Rai with 19 allegations, including one that the current leadership was unable to execute its duties and that ANFA President and General Secretary have been actively engaged in actions detrimental to Nepali football.
