KATHMANDU, May 19: NMB Bank has inaugurated 16 new branches at the local levels across the country. Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the bank has said: “In compliance with the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) mandate to open branches in local units that lack banking services, these new branches have been commenced.” The bank has said that these new branches will provide banking services to the people in areas that have hitherto lacked the presence of commercial banks, added the statement.
