KATHMANDU, April 25: NMB Bank, in association with Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), organized ‘6th NMB Bank Heritage Walk 2017’ on Saturday on the occasion of World Heritage Day.
Issuing a statement, the bank said that the event was inaugurated by Eshor Raj Poudel, CEO of KMC. “The bank is committed to preserve heritage site as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities,” the bank said in a statement.
The event, which is being organized for the last five years, aims at raising awareness about the importance heritage sites among local communities, the statement added.
Speaking at the event, Poudel urged one and all to involve in preservation of our timeless culture and heritage. The bank also organized heritage was in Butwal and Urlabari, according to the statement.
