Nine arrested with ‘brown sugar’

LAHAN, Jan 30: Siraha police have arrested nine persons with brown sugar from Navrajpur Rural Municipality. Police raided the house of Om Prakash Yadav of the same place and arrested nine people with 28 grams of a white substance that looks like brown sugar.

Those arrested are Omprakash Yadav, Amit Kumar Yadav, 22, Devram Kumar Yadav, 25,  Madan Kumar Chaudhary, 51, of Lahan Municipality-12, NarsinghC haudhary,23, of Lahan Municipality,12,  Irfan Hussain, 27, of Lahan Municipality-1, Krishna Pasman, 19, of Shambhunath Municipality of Saptari, Ramesh Pasman,23, of Arnaha, Shambhunath Municipality, Saptari, and Suresh Kumar Pasman, 22, of Shambhunath Municipality-9, Saptari.

According to the police, one digital weighing machine, eight mobile phones, four motorcycles and 4,885 rupees in cash were recovered from the arrested people.
