In celebration of the 34th International Women’s Day in Nepal, Republica has curated a collection of 34 inspiring stories showcasing unwavering courage, resilience, and empowerment of women below the age of 34. These stories are not merely personal; they wield a profound impact, shaping the lives of those who share them. They unfold as tales of courage, resilience, and empowerment.

At just 22 years of age, Nima Chhoden Rokaya, who hails from Dolpa, is making waves in Kathmandu with her dedication to serving organic food to the city's residents. Currently in her third year of undergraduate program, Rokaya has been passionately promoting Dolpa's organic produce in Kathmandu for the past year.

Every Saturday, one can find Rokaya at Orient Cafe in Durbarmarg and Labim Mall in Pulchowk, where she showcases and sells a variety of local products from Dolpa. From organic oil and lentils to silajit and yarsagumba, Rokaya brings the essence of Dolpa's pristine natural environment to the bustling streets of Kathmandu.

Despite the challenges of transportation and logistics, Rokaya remains committed to her mission. Whether she's traveling by car or plane, she ensures that Dolpa's organic treasures reach their destination. Despite the hurdles, Rokaya finds solace in the growing demand for Dolpa's organic products, boosting her confidence and determination.

Supported by her sister, Rokaya's efforts have borne fruit, with her earnings ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 100,000 a month. Through her tireless dedication, Rokaya is not only promoting organic farming and sustainable living but also showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Dolpa to the people of Kathmandu.
