Organizing a news conference here Monday, the leaders of the party claimed that the party was constituted to address the problems facing squatters, elderly and single women and street children, among others.[break]
Nabal Kishor Shah is the Chairman of the 17-member central committee while Narayan Basnet and Rabilal BC are vice-chairman and general secretary, respectively.
On the occasion, Chairman Shah said they were forced to form the new party as the top leaders of the major political parties were confined to personal and partisan interests.
"The main objective of our party is ensuring self-employment, poverty alleviation and modernization in agriculture and industrialization, and promotion of tourism industry and private sector investment in hydropower sector," Shah said.
