PYUTHAN, Feb 28: A new mother in Pyuthan district lost her life in lack of timely medical intervention on Sunday.
Anisha MC, 24, of Jhimruk Rural Municipality-7, died on the way while being rushed to Butwal this morning, according to officiating chief of Pyuthan District Hospital, Khim Pardhe.
Anisha had undergone surgery last Thursday. Another surgery was performed on her after she had health complications. The hospital referred her to a hospital in Butwal. She was being brought to Butwal last night when she breathed her last at Bhaluwa, shared Pardhe.
The newborn is doing well, and has been handed over to the family of the deceased. The dead body of the new mother has been brought to Pyuthan Hospital.
