The company has introduced new models of Philips´ four series - 3000 series LCD TV with Digital Crystal Clear (DCC) technology, 3500 series LED TV with DCC technology, 4000 series Smart LED TV with Pixel Plus HD and 5500 series Smart LED TV with Pixel Plus HD.
According to the company, DCC technology digitally optimizes contrast, color and sharpness while Pixel Plus is a proprietary digital filter image processing technology developed by Philips.
Ivan Chan, regional product marketing manager of Philips Singapore, said the newly introduced models are equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art technological advances, including HD capability, smartphone-control and recording capabilities.
The Philips 5500 series 3D Smart LED TV with Pixel plus HD is available in 40 inch and 46 inch models. The company has claimed that these models are the best premium televisions available in Nepal. If offers a variety of apps and premium content services, including 3D World, where viewers can access a growing abundance of 3D content and enjoy an unparalleled two player gaming experience, the company said in a statement.
The company has priced 40 inch and 46 inch Philips 5500 series LED TV at Rs 189,900 and Rs 259,900 respectively.
Similarly, Philips 4000 series, which is available in 42 inch and 47 inch models, allows users to rent movies directly from online video stores. It offers full HD pictures, powerful sound and access to various online apps, among others. Syakar has priced the 42 inch model at Rs 138,900 and 47 inch model at Rs 179,000, respectively.
The Philips LED 3500 series is available in 32 inch and 46 inch models and they cost Rs 59,900 and Rs 139,900 respectively. Similarly, the 42 inch Philips LCD 3500 series costs Rs 79,900.
Officials of Syakar Company said the new models of Philips televisions consumer less power compared to other television as they are equipped with lower consumption technology. The company is providing 5 percent discount on the newly launched models for a limited period.

The performance of Philips TV in Nepal is not that good. We are not satisfied with our market presence and I think we need to do a lot to develop the market of televisions in Nepal.

We are working to provide right product to the customers as per their income level. Besides, we are also working on brand promotion and we will come up with our latest marketing strategies.
Is there any new product in the pipeline?
We are introducing Philips 600 series Smart LED TV next month. Users having 600 series Smart TV can make voice or video call through television itself.
