YIWU, June 28: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Zhejiang Regional Committee held its 7th Annual General Assembly and Convention on June 28 at Hotel Sangrila in Yiwu, China. The event marked the formal transition to a new executive leadership for the 2025-2027 term, with significant participation from the Nepali business community and NRNA officials from across China.
The event was chaired by Akash Gurung, the outgoing President of NRNA Zhejiang for the 2023-2025 term. The Chief Guest, Yadav Aryal, Vice President of NRNA NCC China, alongside other distinguished guests, including Vice President Rajkumar Kharel attended the occasion.
During the event, Govind Bhandari, the newly-elected President, gave the opening remarks, while Babul Singh Rajbanshi, the Treasurer, presented the financial report. The annual report was shared by General Secretary Sujit Banjju, offering insights into the chapter’s accomplishments and activities over the past year.
The founding President, Vinod Timilsina, the outgoing President Bimal Raj Kandel, and advisors reflected on the achievements of the association and discussed the future vision and strategic direction to further strengthen the community’s presence in China and Nepal.
