KATHMANDU, March 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has given assurances to have the new education regulation under the Education Act (eighth amendment), 2016 passed soon.
PM shared so in a meeting with the Nepal Teachers' Federation delegation at his official residence in Baluwatar today.
PM Dahal further shared that the regulations as per the new act would be passed as local level had sufficient rights regarding the education sector as per the constitution. The education sector is under confusion due to lack of new education regulations as per the amended act.
On the occasion, Nepal Teachers Organization and SAARC Teachers' Federation chair Baburam Thapa urged to pass the new regulations soon.
Earlier, the delegation has met DPM duo Kamal Thapa and Bimalendra Nidhi in this connection today itself. RSS
