At a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union Rupandehi Chapter today, leader Poudel said the new constitution would be issued before May 29 with consent of all political parties.
He argued that the parties failed to bring the new constitution on January 22 due to unfair practices of the UCPN (Maoist) and the Madhes-based parties.
The NC leader was of the view that Nepal's democracy was in transition as the political parties failed to internalize its norms and values.
He also urged the UCPN (Maoist) and Madhes-based parties not to escape from the responsibility of drafting the constitution as it was the need of the hour.
Like before, leader Poudel reiterated that identity-based federalism was a no-no in the country and no party should mislead the people towards it. RSS
