Shanta Tamang of New Buddha Prakash and Sujata Subba of Mahadev School were adjudged the best players in the boys´ and girls´ san-sau, respectively. [break]
In the boys´ san-sau held at the covered hall of the Dasharath Stadium on Saturday, Tamang won the final match in 45 kg category defeating Prithvi Magar of St Xavier.
Likewise, Madhu Lama and Lopsang Lama of the same school won gold in 48 kg and 52 kg respectively. The former grabbed victory over Superb Catholic´s Rupak Lama in the final match while the latter defeated Pradeep Shrestha, also of Superb.
Meanwhile, Elite´s Sudan Rajbhandari claimed the title of boys´ 56 kg san-sau ousting Surendra Tamang of Mahadev in the final.
In the girls´ san-sau, Dipti Ranabhat of New Buddha Prakash won gold in 32 kg while Subba clinched the title of 42 kg category. Ranabhat defeated Samjhana Sharma of Bal Bikash in the final to claim the title. Subba ousted Rojina Sunuwar of Venus Public during the title clash.
Likewise, Jaljala´s Shreya Mahat and Buddha Prakash´s Renu Tamang secured golds in girls´ 45 kg and 48 kg respectively. Mahat secured victory over Anisha Prajapati of RMS in the final while Tamang defeated Elina Shrestha of Little Angels´.
