KATHMANDU, July 22: Shares worth Rs 4.73 billion was traded in the Nepal Stock Exchange this week.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) said that a total of 8.75 million plus shares of 165 companies were traded. The traded amount rose by 12.72 per cent this week compared to the last week.
The Nepse rose 52.18 points to close at 1635.75 points in the last trading day of the week.

The sensitive index of the 'A' class companies increased by 11.08 points against the first day of the week to close at 347.45 points.
According to the Nepse, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited topped the traded amount with the transaction of shares worth Rs 283.4 million. RSS
