KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday declined by 10.71 points to close at 2,025.30 points.
The market opened at 2,036.01 points and reached the day’s high at 2,045.4 points in the first 15 minutes of the trading time. In the next moment, the market went into a downward graph and hit the day’s low at 2,016.92 points before the last five minutes of the trading time. However, the market recovered around nine points before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies shed 1.96 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 3.48 billion from Rs 4.14 billion on Tuesday.
Only two groups - trading, and manufacturing and processing - posted gains of 40.17 points and 9.33 points, respectively. Of the 11 losers, life insurance fell 130.18 points, which was followed by non-life insurance with a decline of 111.50 points.
Among individual companies, 63 were recorded as gainers whereas 176 were the losers.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 125.48 million. Singati Hydro Energy Limited was the top loser, while Mandu Hydropower Limited gained the highest of 9.69 percent of its market price.
