All trading groups except "Others" witnessed their sub-indices go up impressively. Banking and Development Bank groups saw double digit gains with their sub-indices gaining 14.45 points and 15.3 points respectively, to close at 427.43 points and 455.52 points. [break]
Hydropower, Finance and Insurance groups also gained by 2.5 points, 4.46 points and 1.07 points to end at 661.92 points, 424.23 points and 555.58 points respectively. However, "Others" became sole groups to suffer loss during Thursday´s trading. Others group´s sub-index fell 7.05 points to close at 556.92 points.
Total market capitalization also rose to Rs 356.10 billion on Thursday from Rs 349 billion recorded the previous day.
