KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) inched up 0.08 points to close at 2,700.98 points on Monday.
The secondary market underwent a series of fluctuations on the intraday trading. The index reached as high as 2,727.13 points while it fell to the lowest of 2,695.33 points.
Nepse hits 2-year high after week's broad surge
The market stabilized on Monday trading despite witnessing a landslide fall of 100.67 points on Sunday. The turnover amount, however, came down to Rs 3.68 billion from Rs 5.97 billion.
Five trading groups including banks, trading, non-life insurers, manufacturing and mutual funds were the losers. Among individual companies, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited was the top gainer and Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited lost the highest point percent.
