DHANGADI, Dec 19: With the start of the ‘Music for Humanity’ concert of the renowned Nepali band Nepathya, the concert successfully commenced at Dhangadi on Sunday.
According to the statement released by Napalaya on Monday, the concert started by the screening of two music videos and the song titled ‘Aaganai Bhari Hyun Jhare’. Then, the concert was carried on with the songs ‘Bhedako Oon Jasto’, ‘Chhekyo Chhekyo’ and ‘Himal Chuchure '.

After that, Amrit Gurung, the founder and lead singer of the band, presented his song 'Lampate Surati'. Gurung also performed his equally popular songs including 'Chari Maryo' and 'Jomsomai Bazar Ma' from the album 'Min Pachas Ma'. He also sang another popular song 'Sirfula Siraima'.
Throughout the program, singer Amrit Gurung repeatedly spoke about the purpose of Manav Sewa Ashram. The band's old songs 'Yo Zindgani' and ‘Gaun Gaun Bata Utha’ were then presented in the concert.
Singer Amrit on stage, Dhruv Lama on drumset, Suraj Thapa on keyboard, Suvin Shakya on bass, Niraj Gurung on guitar and Shanti Rayamazhi on Madal helped. Amrit to all friends introduced gradually.
Then, the next song presented was ‘Mai Nache Chham Chhami’ which took the audience's musical excitement to its peak. Gurung then sang ‘Resham’ and ‘Taal Ko Paani’, and ‘Rato Ra Chandra Surya’.
Ramji Adhikari, President of Manav Sewa Ashram, said that the concert for the promotion of music as well as humanity, has been completed successfully and for this he thanked all those who helped. Adhikari said that he wanted to participate in both entertainment and philanthropy with his grand presence at the Dhangadhi concert.
After the Dhangadhi concert, a total of 70 members along with the Nepathya team left Birendranagar, Surkhet for the concert to be held on Wednesday, December 21.
