Nepali women's football team departs for Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, July 11: The Nepali National Women's Football Team left for Bangladesh today for two friendly matches. The 31-member Nepali team left for Bangladesh today for two friendly matches to be played on July 13 and July 16. Nepal has taken these friendly matches as a preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China.

KATHMANDU, July 11: The Nepali National Women's Football Team left for Bangladesh today for two friendly matches. The 31-member Nepali team left for Bangladesh today for two friendly matches to be played on July 13 and July 16. Nepal has taken these friendly matches as a preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China.


The goalkeepers of the participating Nepali women's football team are Anjila Tumbapo Subba, Anjana Rana Magar and Usha Nath. Similarly, the defenders include Amrita Jaisi, Geeta Rana, Hirakumari Bhujel, Puja Rana, Bimala BK, Nisha Thokar, Samiksha Ghimire and Anjali Waiba.

Renuka Nagarkoti, Saru Limbu, Bimala Chaudhary, Anita Basnet, Priti Rai and Deepa Shahi are the midfielders while Sabitra Bhandari, Anita KC, Sabita Rana Magar, Rashmi Kumari Ghising, Amisha Karki and Rekha Poudel are the forwards. Anantaraj Thapa is the head coach and Paras Chaudhary is the assistant coach while Suraj Kumar Lama is the goalkeeper coach.
