Member of Nepal’s National Football Team tests positive for COVID-19 in Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: A member of the Nepali National Football Team, who had reached Bangladesh for a friendly football match between Bangladesh and Nepal, has tested positive for COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: A member of the Nepali National Football Team, who had reached Bangladesh for a friendly football match between Bangladesh and Nepal, has tested positive for COVID-19.


According to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), one of the team members of the National Football team has tested positive for the virus.


Players had undergone PCR tests in Dhaka after their arrival in Bangladesh.

The infected player is currently undergoing treatment at an isolation center in Bangladesh. His health condition has been reported stable as of now.


Nepal was due to play a friendly football match with Bangladesh on Friday.


The Nepali players had also undergone PCR tests in Nepal a week ago before leaving for Bangladesh.
