Nepali soldier dies in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug 24: A Nepali peacekeeper serving as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) was killed and three others were injured on Sunday when their pickup truck overturned in southern Lebanon, Lebanon´s The Daily Star reported.



The state-run National News Agency (NNA) said that a Nepali patrol was on a routine trip when the driver lost control of the vehicle and the truck overturned at the northeastern entrance to the town of Mays al-Jabal.
