Nepali soft tennis players to compete in world c'ship

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: A 19-member soft tennis team is set to leave for India on Thursday to take part in the 15th World Soft Tennis Championship scheduled for November 16-22 in New Delhi.

Raju Putuwar, Manoj Subba, Kamal Bahadur Bhandari, Krishna Bahadur Raut, Pradeep Khatri and Ashok Singh are the male players, while Niru Kayastha, Chandra Maya Rai, Alija Ranjit, Kripa Sharma, Jergia Chaudhary and Ayushma Ranjit are the female players of the team.

Rajesh Kumar Bohara and Nira Kayastha are coaches, while Dushyanta Thapa is the team leader. Ananda Prasad Shrestha and Bed Kumar Shrestha are referees from Nepal.
