KATHMANDU, Dec 18: The police have arrested a man who returned to Nepal after allegedly murdering a co-worker in Malaysia.

Anil Kumar Shah, a 24-year-old resident of Mahottari Gaushala Municipality-5, was arrested by the District Police Range Kathmandu, as confirmed by SP Kumud Dhungel.

Shah was taken into custody upon his arrival in Kathmandu from a Himalayan Airlines flight on Saturday. It is reported that he is accused of killing 40-year-old Dhan Bahadur Pradhan from Jhapa Shivasatakshi Municipality-3 on December 11. Pradhan had been employed in Malaysia for the past year.
