Nepali judo scene to get $ 50,000 relief from AJC

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): The ordinary congress of Asian Judo Confederation (AJC) has decided to assist Nepali judo scene affected by earthquake with $ 50,000. According to Nepal Judo Association president Deepak Harsha Bajracharya, AJC president Marius Vizer made such announcement during the congress held in Kuwait held on May 11. Bajracharya was also present in the congress.

"I have written an email to International Judo Federation (IJF) regarding the devastation brought upon by the earthquake in the Nepali judo scene. IJF is making a donation based on that email," said Bajracharya. The congress also nominated Bajracharya as the central committee member of Judo Union of Asia (JUA). He further said that he has also been given the responsibility of directing the JUA's education and coaching faculty.
