Fifth Int’l Judo Tournament from Friday

KATHMANDU Dec 20: Nepal Judo Association (NJA) is set to organize Nepal Confederation of Sports (NECOS) Fifth International Judo Tournament from Friday.


At a press meet organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday, NJA General Secretary Dharma Kumar Shrestha said that a total of 296 players will take part in the tournament that will feature the players of host Nepal, Japan and Bhutan.

The men and women players will take part in 10 weight categories each. On the same occasion, the organizers also informed that the second National Para Judo Tournament will be organized from Thursday.


A total of 22 players will take part in 10 different categories. Also, the second NECOS Veteran Judo Tournament will be held from Thursday in which a total of 50 players will take part in eight categories.
