KATHMANDU: A Nepali national in the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army has been killed in a clash between the Indian Army and Pakistan Army at the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir along the line of control (LoC) on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Dipak Karki, a permanent resident of Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-5 in Gulmi district.

According to Indian Army, soldier Dipak Karki lost his life in a clash at the LoC in Rajouri district.“He [Karki] was critically injured, and later succumbed to his injuries. Karki was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier,” said Defence Public Relations Officer Lt Col Devender Anand in a press statement.
