An organization of Nepali Christians organized a cultural program named “Jindagi” on Sunday, with financial assistance from a local church. Nepal Tara Deepak Limbu and singer Chanda Dewan, especially invited from Nepal for the program, and a Korean actress performed in front of a live Nepali and Korean audience.

The Nepal-Korea Cultural Forum organized the “Sangeet Sargam III”, an annual musical program, on the same day. Many Nepali and Korean artists performed in the program, graced by Nepali Ambassador to Korea Kamal Prasad Koirala.
Koirala, who had sent a video message for “Jindagi”, expressed happiness in the Nepali participation in such weekend programs after a week of hard work, during the welcome speech in “Sangeet Sargam III”. He also said such programs will help with the cultural exchange between the two countries.
While “Jindagi” was free for all to attend, “Sangeet Sargam III” charged 15,000 Korean won as entry fee. President of the Nepal-Korea Cultural Forum Prem Gurung said that the surplus amount, after deducting expenses, collected from “Sangeet Sargam III” would be sent to Nepal for charity to orphans.
