KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Nepali Army has installed a new acrow bridge over the Tadi River at Devighat in Nuwakot as part of ongoing efforts to rebuild roads and bridges damaged by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood on August 26.
The Army installed a 57.9-metre-long and 5.5-metre-wide Advanced Modular Panel Bridge (Acro Bridge) at Devighat in Nuwakot-5. The bridge has a maximum load-bearing capacity of 60 tonnes.

According to the Nepali Army, the road has been reopened following the installation of the bridge.
The reopening is expected to ease travel for residents of Nuwakot and surrounding areas, while improving vehicular movement and facilitating relief and rescue operations and the transportation of essential supplies to flood-affected areas.
