BANKE, May 23: The construction of the Nepalgunj-Gulariya road section under the Hulaki Road Project is 65 percent complete. The road has been blacktopped from Nandini Mill in Nepalgunj to Khajura.
According to engineer Krishna Pandey, information officer for the Postal Highway Directorate in Nepalgunj, the construction work on a 27.62 kilometer stretch including an 11.6 kilometer four-lane and a 16.2- kilometer two-lane section has been started from January 29, 2023 to be completed by December 12, 2025.

The construction contract was awarded to Sharma & Company Pvt Ltd for Rs 2.78 billion. The blacktopping work that started from Nandini Mill and progressed toward Janaki Temple Rural Municipality, Khajura, has gathered pace of late.
