Nepalgunj border closed for Indian polls

NEPALGUNJ, April 28: In the light of the upcoming 15th parliamentary elections in India, the Nepal-India border at Rupediya has been closed. As polls are scheduled for Thursday in Baharaich, Sitapur and some other districts in India, the border has been sealed for 72 hours, the Indian Police said on Tuesday.



Last week too the Indian side had sealed the border for conducting polls in some other districts there.
