Nepal U-19 to play practice matches against Afghans

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Nepal cricket team, which is in India to prepare for the ICC U-19 World Cup, is set to play two practice matches against Afghanistan. As per the press release issued by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Thursday, Nepal will play the practice matches against Afghanistan on January 11 and 13 at Vijay Dahiya Academy in Delhi.

Afghanistan is also preparing for the youth world cup slated for January 22 to February 14.

Nepal is in Group D along with India, New Zealand and Ireland, while Afghanistan is in Group B along with Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Canada.
