Nepal to take on India in U-14 girls' regional championship semi-final

KATHMANDU, April 23: Nepal and India are to face each other in the Under-14 Girls' Regional Football Championship in the semi-final.

Nepal, the Group A winners, will play against India, the first runner up of the Group B, in the semi-final match scheduled to be played at Dasharath Stadium at 1:00 pm on Friday.


Nepal collected total nine points winning all three games against Iran, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Nepal scored total 21 goals in the championship.

Similarly, the winner of Group B, Bangladesh, would face Iran, the first runner up of the Group A in the second game to be played at 4:00 pm in the same stadium.

Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan have been disqualified for the semifinal in the U-14 Championship participated by seven countries. RSS
