KATHMANDU, August 28: Nepal has defeated Kenya by 4 wickets in the third match of the T20 series going on between the two teams. With this victory, Nepal has taken a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
While Nepal won the first match by 5 wickets, it lost to Kenya by 18 runs in the second match. The fourth match will be played on Monday.
Nepal wins T20 Int'l Cricket Series against Kenya
Nepal met the 156-run target set by Kenya in 19.3 overs, losing just six wickets. Gyanendra Malla who hit 46 runs was the largest scorer from Nepal. Similarly, Arjun Saud who was playing his debut T20 match scored 25. Likewise, Rohit Kumar Poudel and Pawan Sarraf scored 29 and 20 runs respectively. Aadil Aalam contributed 16 runs to Nepal’s innings.
The Nepali national cricket team is playing five Twenty20 and three ODI matches against Kenya.
