KATHMANDU, March 27: Nepal has stood fourth in Third South Asian Archery Competition bagging two bronze medals.
The team of Tilak Pun Magar and Gyanu Awale won the bronze medal defeating the Sri Lankan team under Recurve Mix category. Likewise, Hom Bahadur Thapa Magar, Prajeet Kumar Agrawal and Abhisekh Raj Pradhan under Compound category (male) have won the next bronze defeating the Sri Lankan team.
China to support Nepal in archery, wushu, boxing
In the championship held at BKSP compound in Dhaka, Bangladesh stood the top in the medallist with six gold, five silver and one bronze medal. Five countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan Sri Lanka participated in the championship. Among the participants, Pakistan failed to bag a single medal.
The next edition of the championship will be held in Pakistan next year.
