Having lost the toss and being asked to bat first, Nepal managed to score 167 runs before losing all their wickets in 44.3 overs.

Nepal struggled to form substantial partnerships as they kept losing wickets, with Ashief Sheikh departing early after contributing only seven runs.
Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel remained a ‘not out’ batsman with the highest score of 33 runs for Nepal. Sandeep Lamichhane and Kushal Bhurtel both scored 27 runs, while Bhim Sarki added 22 runs to the total. Gulsan Jha and Dipendra Singh Aire contributed 15 runs each, and Kushal Malla chipped in with 12 runs. Arif Sheikh and Karan KC were dismissed for six and one run respectively.
Logan Van Beek was the most successful bowler for the Netherlands, taking four wickets. Bas de Leede and Bikramjit Singh claimed two wickets each.
