Nepal SBI Bank contributes Rs 70.9m to relief fund

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Nepal SBI Bank has provided Rs 70.9 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund for relief and reconstruction works after the the earthquake.

Bank's managing director Alok Kumar Sharma and deputy CEO Bijaya Kumar Tyagi handed over the check to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at the latter's office on Sunday.

After receiving the check, PM Koirala assured the banks' officials about the proper utilization of the fund, according to a bank statement.
