LONDON, Sept 21: The Embassy of Nepal in Britain is gearing up to organize a high level visit from Britain to Nepal. While Nepal and Britain have maintained friendship for two centuries, no sitting British prime minister has landed in the country that is home to British Gurkha regiment.
Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi, Nepal's ambassador to Britain said that time had come to organize a high level visit to Nepal to strengthen relationships between the two countries. He also pinned hope of continued support from the British people and its government for Nepal's development.
