Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 120

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: With six more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 120 on Wednesday.

According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), one person each from Kathmandu, Bardiya, Morang, Bhaktapur, Chitwan and Sunsari districts succumbed to COVID-19. They include two men and four women. 

So far, 14 individuals in Province 1, 47 in Province 2, 23 in Bagmati Province, eight in Gandaki Province, 16 in Province 5, four in Karnali Province and eight others in Sudur Paschim Province have died of COVID-19.
