KATHMANDU, Oct 9: As many as 899 people recovered from COVID-19 in Nepal on Saturday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 760 new cases of COVID--19 and 11 deaths from the deadly virus on the same day.
There are currently 15,770 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 14,168 are in home isolation, 1,172 in institutional isolation, 317 in ICUs and 113 on ventilators. Similarly, 236 people are currently in quarantine facilities.

As many as 12,031 COVID-19 tests were conducted on Saturday - 6,168 PCR tests and 5,863 antigen tests.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 227 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 145 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 25 in Bhaktapur and 57 in Lalitpur districts.
