Nepal records 662 new cases, 758 recoveries and 13 deaths on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Nepal records 662 new cases of COVID-19 along with 753 recoveries and 13 deaths on Wednesday. 

Similarly, 1,802 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 across the country on the same day. 

Among the 8,426 tests that were conducted on Wednesday, 535 PCR and 127 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus, according to the latest information from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

There are currently 11,579 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Similarly, 256 are currently in quarantine. 

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 250 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 192 were recorded in Kathmandu, 23 in Bhaktapur and 35 in lalitpur districts.
