KATHMANDU, March 23: Nepal recorded 35 new cases of COVID-19 along with 266 recoveries and zero death from the deadly virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,268 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 32 PCR and three antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 2,242 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 2,179 are in self-isolation, 40 in institutional isolation, 21 in ICUs, and two on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 10 cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of which nine were recorded in Kathmandu district while one was recorded in Bhaktapur.
