KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Nepal registered 203 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, along with 126 recoveries and zero death from the virus, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,059 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Of them, 87 PCR and 116 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

Across the nation, there are now 2,249 active cases of COVID-19. Of them, 2,152 are isolated by themselves, 80 are in institutional isolation and 17 are in intensive care units and one on a ventilator. So far, 12,015 people have died of the viral disease nationwide.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 24 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Of them, 19 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, two in Bhaktapur, and three in Lalitpur districts. Similarly, Chitwan recorded 17 new cases of COVID-19.
