KATHMANDU, JULY 17: Nepal recorded 135 new cases of COVID-19 along with 59 recoveries and one death from the virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
A total of 3,041 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 114 PCR tests and 21 antigens tests turned out to be positive for the virus. There are currently 1,439 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
So far, 11,953 people have died from the virus across the country.
With the addition of Sunday, the total number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has reached 1,122,336.
