“Poverty and unemployment are the major obstacles that inhibit our country from moving towards the path of economic development and prosperity.  We will put an end to the poverty by creating massive job opportunities for Nepali youths under the Prime Minister Employment Program as we have a two-thirds majority government with a clear-cut goal and vision,” said PM Oli addressing the jam-packed audience.

Under this program, the government plans to create 200,000 jobs in the Fiscal Year 2018/19 and around 700,000 in the next five years for Nepali citizens, thereby discouraing foreign employment.
