KATHMANDU, July 21: Nepal recorded 435 new cases of COVID-19 along with 56 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,569 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 317 PCR and 118 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.
38 new cases of coronavirus traced on Saturday
There are currently 2,537 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 11,954 people have died of the viral disease across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 192 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. Among them, 149 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 12 in Bhaktapur and 31 in Lalitpur district.
