KATHMANDU, Jan 25: Nepal Information Technology Society held a protest program against the controversial decision to make national identity cards mandatory at Maitighar Mandala on Saturday.


The protest began at 2:30 today. The protestors chanted slogans and carried placards saying ‘Withdraw the anti-nationalist national identity cards’, ‘uphold sovereignty of cyberspace’.
